Retainer Shield is FDA approved for the cleaning of dental appliances like Retainers and Aligners. Retainer Shield is meant to dissolve in water, creating a solution in which you can soak your dental appliance in to clean it. Please follow the instructions on the box, which advise you to only use it for this purpose and under these instructions only. It is not meant to be ingested. Please rinse your appliance under running water to remove any residue before reusing.

Yes! Although it is not necessary. Once the Retainer Shield tablet is fully dissolved in water the appliance is clean after approximately 10 minutes. It works best when submerged in the solution immediately after use. It is not necessary to leave it overnight. However, it is safe enough to do so if you do chose to. It will not damage the appliance.

For orders within the United States, orders take between 5-10 days to arrive. You can rest assured your package will be taken good care of.
